Onion rings with bread crumbs

Ingredients

1 large onion cut into rings
1 cup self raising
Salt to taste
1 1/2 cup bread crumbs

Oil for frying


Methods:

Make a thick batter with self raising flour, 1/2 cup breadcrumbs and salt
Take onion rings dip in the thick paste
Then dip in dry breadcrumbs evenly
Refrigerate breaded onions for five to six hours

Before using take it out from the fridge and deep fry
Until golden 
Serves hot with any dipping
