Plain Farata

 

Ingredients:

 
3 cups Flour
1 cup Hot Water
1/2 cup Oil
Salt to taste
 
Steps:1
 
For the dough
Heat 2 cups of water
Keep aside
In a bowl put the flour
Add salt according to your taste
Mix well with a spoon or clean hands
Then add 1/4 cup of oil and water little by little
Mix well until you get a good texture
 
Note
  1. Sprinkle flour on the surface you are using before rolling
  2.  You will know when your dough is good, when it will easily detach from your hand
  3. Or when it is not sticking too much in your hand.
  4. If sticking add a little dry flour...............
Step: 2
 Make small balls with your hand
Then using a rolling pin, role the dough
Apply oil on it
Make a fold
Leaves aside for five minutes
Then role again in a circular or square form
 
Step:3
 
Heat a pan on medium flame
Put your rolled dough on it
Let heat for few seconds
Add oil on it with the help of a silicon brush
Turn the other sides and repeat the same action
When it starts changing colour.....................Roast a little
 
Its ready to eat
 
SERVE HOT with anything of your choice
